ASRock reveals AMD's 16GB Radeon RX 7800 XT and 12GB Radeon RX 7700 XT through a new EEC listing

Thanks to a new listing with the EEC (via @momomo_us), ASRock has unofficially revealed two new AMD Radeon graphics cards, GPUs that will sit in the gap between AMD's Radeon RX 7600 and RX 7900 XT. These GPUs are AMD's Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon RX 7800 XT.

We already know about AMD's Radeon RX 7800 XT thanks to a leak from PowerColor, which confirmed that the graphics card will feature 16GB of GDDR6 memory, a 256-bit memory bus, and 3840 stream processors. In a sense, this graphics card is an RDNA 3 counterpart of AMD's RX 6800, as both GPU models feature the same stream processor count, though the RX 7800 XT will benefit from AMD's architectural innovations with RDNA 3, much higher GPU clock speeds, and faster GDDR6 memory. Today's EEC listing from ASRock confirms that the graphics card will have 16GB of GDDR6 memory.

As for the Radeon RX 7700 XT, all today's EEC listing tells us is that the graphics card will feature 12GB of GDDR6 memory, which implies that the graphics card will have a 192-bit memory bus.

Based on the listing below, ASRock plans to release Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics cards with Steel Legend and Challenger branding. For the Radeon RX 7700 XT, ASRock appears to have Phantom Gaming, Steel Legend, and Challenger models planned.

AMD has confirmed that they will release new "enthusiast-class" RDNA 3 graphics cards in the near future, and rumour has it that AMD plans to reveal Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics cards at Gamescom. If this is true, we can expect AMD to officially reveal these new RDNA 3 based graphics cards very soon.
